This workshop will guide you toward flexible but also strong and stable hips and hamstrings.
Did you know that there is more than one way to get rid of tight hips and hamstring? Aren’t you bored of long (and maybe painful or uncomfortable) stretching?
This workshop won´t be all about stretching. Increasing just flexibility can create some pretty impressive Instagram shots, but is not much use in our day-to-day lives. Hyper-flexibility can even be a liability as moving deeply into our joints without control can leave our tendons and ligaments at risk.
The key to a safe and lifelong yoga practice is also strengthening our muscles. During this workshop you will learn how to engage and strengthen stabilizing muscles around the joints to improve mobility and flexibility.
Get ready to:
Understand root causes of high hamstring tendinopathy, aka yoga butt, and how to avoid and/or heal this common yoga injury.
All of the techniques you will learn can be easily applied in your daily yoga practise.
